The White House has recently addressed the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in businesses, with the Department of Labor also releasing guidance on the matter. In response, the White House has published principles to protect workers when AI is used in the workplace. These principles cover areas such as awareness, ethical development, governance and oversight, transparency, compliance with existing workplace laws, enabling, supportive during transition, and privacy and security of data. The aim is to ensure that workers are informed, protected, and supported in the development and deployment of AI systems in the workplace.
