Cuban Prime Minister, Mr. Manuel Marrero Cruz, recently addressed the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, expressing Cuba's commitment to strengthening economic, commercial, financial, and cooperation relations with the Eurasian Economic Union and its member states. He emphasized the importance of greater coordination and the development of joint projects in areas of common interest. Mr. Cruz also highlighted the opportunities for collaboration in agriculture, agribusiness, and foreign investment, as well as the recent Cuba-Eurasian Economic Union Business Forum. Additionally, he expressed gratitude for the Union's support in Cuba's battle against the U.S. economic blockade and called for the removal of Cuba from the list of States allegedly sponsoring terrorism. Mr. Cruz concluded by reiterating Cuba's commitment to the partnership and promoting sustainable economic development for the benefit of both regions.
