This collaboration between the Government of Antigua and Barbuda, the University of the West Indies, the Commonwealth Secretariat, and the Association of Commonwealth Universities aims to support the transition to a sustainable blue economy in the Caribbean and beyond. The centre will be located at the University of West Indies Five Islands Campus in Antigua and will draw on the existing research strengths within the University of the West Indies and the wider academic network of the Association of Commonwealth Universities. The Commonwealth Secretariat is proud to support this initiative, which aims to build capacity in sustainable ocean industries across the region.
