Kazakh and U.S. Officials Discuss Bilateral Partnership at Sixth Enhanced Strategic Partnership Dialogue Meeting
Kazakh First Deputy Foreign Minister Akan Rakhmetullin and U.S. Assistant Secretary for the Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs Donald Lu recently met in Washington, D.C. for the sixth meeting of the Enhanced Strategic Partnership Dialogue (ESPD) between Kazakhstan and the United States. The officials discussed the importance of developing infrastructure projects and transportation routes, as well as cooperation in the fields of energy and critical minerals. Both parties confirmed their readiness to implement agreements reached on a mutually beneficial basis. The Kazakh delegation also met with U.S. Administration and Department of State leadership, as well as representatives of U.S. civil society. The next meeting is scheduled to take place in 2025 in Astana.
