The Her Campus Voices: Election 2024 Tour is underway, with the first stop at Michigan State University. As the 2024 presidential election approaches, many are looking to Gen Z to save U.S. politics due to their passion for justice and activism. However, many members of Gen Z feel burnt out by politics and are frustrated with political representatives who don't reflect their interests. Despite their discontent, these students are passionate about issues such as reproductive justice, the Israel-Hamas war, education, transgender rights, gun control, political corruption, healthcare, and immigration rights. They are tired and disappointed in the state of U.S. politics, but still have hope for the future.
