The European Commission, the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre, and the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity are launching the Cybersecurity Skills Academy initiative to address the global shortage of cybersecurity professionals. The initiative aims to integrate learning activities under a European framework for increased impact and accessibility. Proposals are being sought for training programs for SMEs, start-ups, and the public sector, as well as for the support and governance of the Academy. The funding for this initiative is €10,000,000, and the application deadline is 21 March 2024. An info session will be held on 12 December 2023 for those interested in participating. Organizations interested in finding partners for this initiative can use the Comments feature on the platform to express their interest and find potential collaborators.
