Three UK higher education institutions, including Times Higher Education, Oxford Royale Academy, and the University of Hertfordshire, have been honored with the prestigious King's Awards for Enterprise. The awards, announced on May 6, recognize outstanding UK businesses and were established by HM Queen Elizabeth. Times Higher Education was recognized in the international trade category for its rapid growth as a global provider of higher education data, insights, and services. Oxford Royale Academy, a leader in premium summer school education, also received an award in the international trade category for welcoming students from over 175 nations. The University of Hertfordshire, one of the largest international student recruiters for post-1992 universities, was the only university to be recognized with a King's Award for Enterprise this year. Despite global challenges, including the pandemic, the university has expanded its international sales by 330% in the past six years. The Vice Chancellor of the University of Hertfordshire, Professor Quintin McKellar, expressed his appreciation for the award and highlighted the immense value and need for the university's international community.
