The US Department of Justice has indicted Bill Guan, the chief financial officer of Epoch Times, for his alleged involvement in an international money laundering scheme. Guan is accused of laundering around $67 million of illicit funds using cryptocurrency from 2020 to May 2024. He reportedly used stolen personal identification information to open various accounts and transfer the funds into the media company's bank accounts.
