DocGo, a telehealth and medical transportation company, disclosed a data breach in an SEC filing on May 7. The breach involved the access and acquisition of consumers' protected health information related to the company's U.S. ambulance transportation business. The company is conducting an investigation with the help of third-party security experts and will notify affected individuals. Despite the breach, DocGo reported a substantial increase in total revenue for the first quarter of 2024, with revenue from mobile health services increasing by 97% year-over-year. The company also adjusted its 2024 revenue expectations and cash flow forecast. CEO Lee Bienstock emphasized the strong performance of the company's base business.
