Mike Bowman, the CEO and President of the Delaware Technology Park and the Delaware Small Business Development Center, has been selected to join the White House Advisory Committee for Trade Policy and Negotiations. President Joe Biden chose Bowman and 44 others to provide advice on trade agreements and bargaining positions. The committee has already met and held secure calls with Ambassador Katherine Tai, discussing topics such as supply chain, trade relations, and tariffs. Bowman, representing small businesses, emphasized the impact of the supply chain on the life science sector and the potential embargoes on plastic syringes and electric vehicles. He stressed the importance of ensuring that the voices of small businesses are heard in the trade game.
