President Biden has stated that he would not pardon his son, Hunter Biden, if he is convicted of felony charges related to his alleged purchase of a handgun while being a drug user. Hunter Biden was indicted on three counts last year in connection to the purchase of a handgun, with two of the charges stemming from false statements about his drug use on a federal gun form. The trial is currently underway in Delaware, with the first lady, Jill Biden, attending the proceedings. President Biden also addressed the recent conviction of former President Donald Trump, stating that he received a fair trial and criticizing Trump's Republican supporters for undermining the rule of law.
